iRecover US is the sister company to iRecover Treatment Centers in Canada — founded by recovery veterans who have spent decades changing lives. We bring that proven model to South Dakota, with two locations and a world-class team dedicated to lasting recovery.

Our story

19 years of proven results, now in South Dakota

iRecover.US was founded by Board President and recovery veteran Jim Gray, and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Hilgard Goosen. Jim has been sober since 1989 and has been transforming lives in the addiction recovery field since 2006. Dr. Goosen brings decades of clinical expertise in general medicine, specialized procedures, and addiction treatment.

Together, they expanded the successful iRecover Canada model — established in 2007 — into the United States, opening our Howard, South Dakota residential facility and more recently our Sioux Falls Behavioral Health center. iRecover US is built on the same evidence-based, compassionate approach that has helped thousands of participants and their families across Canada.
