How insurance verification works

We handle all the insurance paperwork for you. Here's exactly what happens — no surprises.

1

You call or submit the form

Call us at 1-888-357-7121 or fill out the verification form above. We'll need your insurance card details — that's all.

2

We contact your insurer

Our admissions team contacts your insurance company directly on your behalf and requests a full benefits check for addiction treatment coverage.

3

We explain your coverage

We call you back — usually same day — and explain exactly what's covered, what your co-pay or deductible may be, and what to expect financially. No jargon.

4

We handle the rest

Once you decide to proceed, we manage all the paperwork with your insurer and arrange your admission. You focus on recovery — we handle the admin.

No insurance? No problem.

Self-pay & alternative funding options

Not having insurance should never be a barrier to getting the help you or your loved one needs. iRecover US works with a range of funding sources and self-pay arrangements to make treatment accessible.

Private / self-pay

We accept private payment directly. Our admissions team will discuss rates and payment arrangements with you confidentially.

Tribal funding

We work with Tribal funding programs to support Indigenous individuals seeking addiction treatment. Call us to discuss eligibility and how to access funding through your Tribe.

Hutterite Colony funding

iRecover US has experience working with Hutterite Colonies to arrange funding for Colony members in need of addiction treatment.

Employer & EAP funding

Many employers and Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) cover addiction treatment. We work directly with HR departments and EAP providers to arrange coverage.

Not sure what you qualify for?

Call us and we will work through all available options with you — privately and without pressure. Whatever your financial situation, we will do our best to find a path to treatment.

Insurance questions answered

Will my insurance really cover addiction treatment?
Under the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA), most insurance plans are required to cover addiction treatment at the same level as other medical conditions. In most cases, your plan will cover some or all of the cost of treatment at iRecover US. The only way to know for sure is to verify — and we do that for free.
How long does the verification process take?
In most cases, we can verify your benefits and call you back the same day. During office hours, this often takes just a few hours. We will explain your coverage clearly — what's covered, any co-pay or deductible, and what to expect — before you make any decisions.
Will my employer find out I went to treatment?
Your treatment is protected by HIPAA and strict confidentiality laws. iRecover US will not share your information with your employer without your written consent. If you are using employer-sponsored insurance, the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) may show a claim for behavioral health services, but your specific diagnosis and treatment details remain confidential.
What if my insurance only partially covers treatment?
If your insurance only covers part of the cost, we will discuss the remainder with you openly and work to find a solution. This might include a self-pay arrangement for the balance, exploring other funding sources, or adjusting the program length. We will never let cost alone be the reason someone doesn't get help.
Do you accept Medicaid?
Yes, we accept Medicaid. Unfortunately we cannot accept Medicare at this time. If you have Medicare as your primary coverage, please call us to discuss alternative options.
